July 24, 2010

I know exactly what I was doing one year ago today. I woke up and starting filming my day, along with 80,000 other people from 192 countries. Now it lives in a 90 minute film called LIFE IN A DAY that opens in theaters today--exactly one year later! Amazing... Here's the TRAILER

ASSISTED LIVING

I had a blast playing the part of a couple-monster in the funny pilot for a new show called "Assisted Living" directed by David DeLouis. Here I am pictured with the guy who plays my husband: John Borkowski, in our matching outfits...

The Bleedy

It was so much fun getting the official statue and walking the red carpet at Bleedfest! MORBID CURIOSITY had won the Audience Award in December, but the statue had not arrived from the artist overseas. It's a gorgeous piece of art called the Inanna, which is named after the Goddess of art and war!

It's been fun driving around town and seeing movie posters for Matt's latest theatrical release Waiting For Forever everywhere! Passed a bunch on the way to the gym! It's playing in theatres in LA, NY and Dallas starting February 4th! So be sure to check it out! Great romantic Valentine's Day movie. Bring Kleenex!

LIFE IN A DAY at Sundance

On July 24, 2010, more than 80,000 clips were submitted to this documentary project from 192 countries that added up to 4,500 hours of video! Clips were narrowed down from there to make a 90 minute documentary called LIFE IN A DAY, that premiered at Sundance! Remember my blog post last July? Matt and I had submitted footage and and it made the final cut! It was a lot of fun to see the movie in a packed 1200 seat theater at the Eccles! And the next day we learned that National Geographic is picking the movie and it will be released in theaters on July 24, 2011 --exactly 1 year after the day we all shot it.
